Chaldea, an organization tasked with observing Earth's future, has confirmed that human history will be eliminated at 2019. Without warning, the promised future of 2017 disappeared. Why? How? Who? By what means? AD. 2004. A certain provincial town in Japan. For the first time ever, a region that could not be observed appeared. Assuming that this was the cause of humanity’s extinction, Chaldea carried out its sixth experiment - time travel into the past. A forbidden ceremony where they would convert humans into Spiritrons and send them back in time. By intervening in events, they would locate, identify, and destroy the space-time Singularities. The mission classification is an order to protect Humanity: Grand Order. This is the title for those who would take a stand against human history and battle fate in order to protect mankind. Let me put it this way, I stopped playing Yu-Gi-Oh for this. I was far in Yu-Gi-Oh too. I DONT get the feeling that Fate G/O is gonna get boring or stale or any of that. Cant wait to keep playing.

Great gacha game, amazing story to get invested in, loads of fun and fulfillment in progressing through the game overall. However, this game may as well be a full time job considering how far you’ll be bending backwards and suffering while you grind.
  • Important bugs never fixed

iPhone X and newer lag and have weird blue borders. Devs have refused to fix this for 2 years running. Apple should take down the app until they do. Game takes forever at end of mission. Lots of other bugs. For several months in mid2019 the app would continuously crash on iphone6 and earlier. For Halloween 2019 users lost progress on some missions and they never acknowledged this issue.
  • Great Story for Fate Fans

Fate/GO has issues... a lot of them have been pointed out and exaggerated in other reviews though. Yes the rates are terrible, but players can clear all the contents of the game with enough investment to the lower rarity servants. Something that I find to be rather unique to the game as often times in these kinds of games rarity has a direct correlation to how good a unit is. I myself have been playing for 2 years, of which most of my first year was spent with 1 SSR. I never had any noticeable difficulty with the main story quests though. The gameplay also has much to be desired and requires a lot of time to grind since this game lacks an auto play system. I’m not gonna say that it’s a mindless hack and slash though unlike other games on the market. It’s simple enough that anyone can pick up on it, but with just enough complexity that people need to build proper teams. I’d also like to add I do play on the iPhone XR and while the game is laggy, it is in no way unplayable from my experience. Now what is the main appeal of this game is the story. Though it takes a while to pick up, when it finally does get good. IT GETS GOOD. Enough that it even has an ongoing anime series and a set of movies coming out. It also goes deeper into the lore of Fate, which is nice for someone who joined the community after watching Zero and Ufotable’s UBW adaptation.
  • Good game bad summons

Love the game. It’s highly addicting. But the odds for summons are horrible. Even with the summon rates up for events and stuff it’s unlikely that you’ll get anything good. 30 saint quarts equals a 10summon. And 10 summon have better odds of getting something good. I did 10 single summons with summoning tickets and spent 150 saint quarts= 5 ten summons. And didn’t get anything but useless craft essences that I have already. Like that’s not cool. And if not for the rare events that happen. The game wouldn’t hold up. The content is slowly dropping. And it’s such a good game. Just hate how the summoning system is so messed up. And it wastes so much of your effort& time it takes to save up the necessary amount of SQ for a 10summons.

Lag and stutter make this game almost unplayable on my iPhone 11 would not recommend. Basically unplayable. This is unexpectable.
  • The gacha isn’t terrible

I’ve been playing FGO for a little over a year now I want to talk about the gacha. First things first I’m a completely F2P player yet I have over 40 gold servants and 10 of them are 5*. I even have an alt account with two 5*. People complain about not getting enough SQ but you just need to play the game and get your log on bonuses and that’s not even counting tickets which are basically 3SQ which you can buy three of in the shop every month and get given one every week. The game is also very easy to re-roll if you find you haven’t gotten very lucky. Especially if you start at a time when the their giving away SQ as a gift which happens quite often.
