  • Crazy long load time and crashes

I love playing this game, but it has to load every 2 seconds. I tap on something to collect it, it has to load that page, then when the page is loaded I have to select it, then it has to load that, then I get out of selecting it, it have to load to get out of that area. And after all that waiting for it to load it crashes and I have to start the app all over again and then the loading process starts again. Before I know it I sat there for 30 minutes and only collected the 4 hour prize. I love the game when I actually works. I just updated it and it even worst. Within of five minutes of playing it crashed about 12 times. Very disappointed about this update I basically can’t play anymore.

I enjoy the game. I have spent real money(under $50j and been able to progress pretty quickly. My concern is when I complete a mission and go to collect my [email protected], the game freezes and I have to close and reload. I have lost some but some I received. This happens often enough that I included in here. My internet is fast as u can have in residential so it’s not that. Other than that, well done.

Gradually being sucked into cash blackhole. Not enough fun to make it worth paying real money to keep playing.
  • A complete waste of time and cash

If you love having to rebuild your space station and ships every four hours this is the game for you! You will be raided and your hard earned materials stolen from you every time you don’t have a price shield up. So don’t ever think about upgrading because of you put in the work to build something it will get stolen before you can build it. The devs will gladly sell you materials for that upgrade, but that can be stolen as well. My suggestion is rate this game a dud for the concept of build and raid is as anti Trek in idea as it gets. Hopefully the devs get robbed repeatedly so they understand the point.

Fun game, but really buggy. Would appreciate some better battle graphics
  • Illogically Unbalanced Gameplay with Overpriced In-game Packages

This game is fun through level 14. I have invested time and money into this game and am at lvl 25. The major issue I have with the game is the incredibly unbalanced gameplay with regard to PvP. At lvl 15, your base will get hit and you will lose everything. That’s a fact. The other issue that I’ve seen many people quit the game over is that the developer, Scopely, refuses to address the higher level players attacking lower level players. As an example, a lvl 34 player with 1.5 million damage can attack a lvl 23 player and crush them; however, a lvl 24 player cannot attack any player below level 19. That is completely unbalanced as only players within 2 or so levels above and below them should be able to be targeted. This is probably the biggest reason I’ve heard for dejection in the game and people leaving. The other issue is lack of higher level resources which makes grinding impossible You must join an alliance in order to access mineable resources so you can swap out team members on said resource because there aren’t enough. Again, you will inevitably get an errant troll who will come through and destroy everybody mining in a galaxy. This lack of attention to the needs of the players is one of the many reasons Scopely will continue to lose potential ongoing business. The other reason is that they price their in-game packages too high. I’m sure some nuckleheads will pay $100 for a package that will give sufficient supplies to level a ship to the next successive tier, but that’s it...and not worth it in most people’s opinion. Once you achieve a certain level, the average person who plays this game as an escape outlet will not find any meaningful in- game packages for less than $50. The game is fun, but these elements, and Scopely’s refusal to effectively address the issues I listed, makes the game frustrating to the point people leave in droves; however, if Scopely can milk these people out of $80 (about the cost most realize they’ve been had), Scopely has done its job. I would not recommend unless you enjoy investing heavily in virtual commodities and becoming so frustrated at times because all you’ve worked towards (and paid for with real money) can be taken from you in a matter of minutes. There are no guarantees in life, but heed this warning. This game is guaranteed to frustrate you due to the illogical game play and greedy developers. I’ll gladly update my review and score if I see any significant game changes that allow more balanced gameplay.

Definitely not what you see. Initially the game was fun but eventually the game is about “mining” and worrying about getting your earnings robbed and the theft can include items you spent real money to get. You will need to spend big bucks if you plan on surviving. The many reviews are warnings. The big spenders rule the game. I enjoyed it when I started and was in one of the top alliances. These players make serious investments and are able to stay online most of the time. At about level 19 most of the missions are gone and the costs increase. Once you make your first purchase the cost for the rest continue to increase and the less expensive ones disappeared.
