  • I wish I didn’t have to have the app.

    I will admit I was originally disappointed and turned off by HotSchedules because this platform is predominately used for scheduling within the service industry and therefore hourly wages employees. The company is paying a licensing fee to use the platform and I, the hourly wage employee, still have to pay to download the app?!! It feels icky. Of course you’re going to charge the lowest tiered group to use your services because they have to use your services when you should just price your platform costs appropriately. My disappointment was compounded because getting logged into the app is a NIGHTMARE. Horrible experience. I reset my password yesterday and still can’t get into the app and am resorting to my desktop. I’ve tried multiple times. If I’m paying to have this app, I’d expect it to be the best app on my phone and its just not. Also, this is the only app on my phone I’ve paid to download. Once you can get logged in, the app is convenient and handy. Easy to navigate and the layout makes sense. Not tons of lag or anything either. Please fix your login issues and let your finance/accounts team know you’re pricing structure isn’t a good look.
  • Needs a update ASAP

    The app is too slow and keeps loosing connection. I checked if my version of the app was up to date, and it was and it still glitches. One of the worst changes my job did. I would put more stars if it was a smoother experience. And to think I rely on this because my job depends on it. The least it can do is not cut connection on high network.

  • Notifications and rating shifts annoying. Time off requests not showing in calendar

    Please stop sending notifications that my shift is about to begin and to rate my shift. I am logging in each time thinking I have a message only to find it’s something annoying like the above. Also, on the app, why can you not see all requested time off in calendar. We shouldn’t have to go into the time off requests sections

    Can we have an update that shows all available shifts up for grabs, even if you’re working??? Also, sometimes we request off days and our plans fall through... it would be nice to still see available shifts without remembering that you requested off and go in and delete the request. HS has been less glitchy, which has been nice, but I still like some of the older versions much better.

    I’m a manager and I HATE this update with a passion. I can no longer see my roster and even when I go to roster report, nothing pops up. Please change it back. This update is trash.

    A week now I can’t view my schedule through the app I paid for. Only $3 but still have to use the regular website and not the app because it never works.

    For millions of people to spend money on this app, the devs sure don’t keep up with it. This is the slowest app I’ve ever had. Load times have exceeded 3 mins to load a message or schedule. I expect far more from an app the capitalizes off restaurants. Update your servers and coding!!!
